1. Right click anywhere on your desktop where you don’t already have an icon and select New > Folder. Rename the folder the patients name.
2. View the contents of the CD or flash drive using Windows Explorer and look for file(s) with a .dcm file extension at the end of the filename. These are DICOM files. Note that not all DICOM files will have a .dcm file extension. These normally are in a folder named Data. If you can’t find .dcm files, please contact us for assistance.
3. Copy the .dcm file(s) into the folder you created in step 1.
4. Once the export is finished, find the folder on the Desktop and drag and drop that to the patient's case. The message you should receive when successful is "compressing or zipping".
