- Right click on your desktop and create a new folder. Name the folder with your patient’s name.
- Select the patient in the database and click 'Export' (at the bottom of the screen)
- Select the scan and click the “. . .” button. Select the folder that you just made on the Desktop for the patient and click “OK”.
- On the next screen, verify that you have the correct folder selected and click “Run”. You will see a status bar progressing as the DICOM is being created.

Once the scan has finished saving, drag and drop the folder which was created on the desktop onto the case inside BeamReaders.
Note: If your account setup was prior to March 2023, you will need to "compress" the folder. Right click on the folder and send to compressed zipped. Prior to moving it to the BeamReaders case on page four.
Note to zip a folder: Right-click on the folder on your Desktop that has the patient's name on it, "Send to", and choose "Compressed (zipped) folder" or if you are on Windows 11 Right-click and compress to Zip File.
