- Create a new folder on your Desktop and name the folder with the patient’s name
- Click on the patient’s name in i-CAT Vision
- Click on “CT” in the area directly underneath the patient name list to bring up the reconstructed CBCT scan
- Once the reconstructed CBCT scan is loaded, go up to the Tools menu, choose “Export DICOM”, and select “Original Study”
- In the window that appears, click the “Browse” button and then browse to your Desktop and select the folder you created that has the patient’s name on it and then click “Save”
- For the export options, choose “Single File” and “Uncompressed”
- Click the OK or Export button and the CBCT will be exported to the folder you created with the patient’s name on it in single-file DICOM format

Once the scan has finished saving, drag and drop the folder which was created on the desktop onto the case inside BeamReaders.
Note: If your account setup was prior to March 2023, you will need to "compress" the folder. Right click on the folder and send to compressed zipped. Prior to moving it to the BeamReaders case on page four.
Note to zip a folder: Right-click on the folder on your Desktop that has the patient's name on it, "Send to", and choose "Compressed (zipped) folder" or if you are on Windows 11 Right-click and compress to Zip File.
